Hamilton House

Emily and Elise Tyson wanted to restore Hamilton House and to create a vacation retreat in which the interior and exterior of the house flowed seamlessly.

They hired architect Herbert C. Browne of Little and Brown, Boston, to design a harmonious interior and landscape.

Ells were added to the house for restrooms, a modern kitchen and later laundry, and luxurious sleeping porches.
