Library Doorway

The Jewett sisters selected for the library wall color this Pompeiian Red, a popular color in the Arts and Crafts movement, which favored earth tones. The dark contrast of the paneling is also of the day and is intended to be harmonious with the Arts and Crafts design in the hallway beyond.
