Sarah Wyman Whitman also enjoyed a friendship with Sarah’s sister Mary Rice Jewett. Whitman created this silhouette of Mary. It hangs with the silhouette of Sarah and a triptych of the three Jewett sisters, close to Jewett’s writing desk in the second-floor hall.
