Teddy’s Room

A shingle bearing Dr. Eastman’s name hangs above the doorway of the room in this 1931 photograph. The doctor’s shingle is placed over a pair of deer antlers, indicating both Dr. Teddy’s profession and his continued love of the outdoors.

The banjo clock over the mantel is a reminder that as a hobby, Teddy collected antique clocks.
